Fidely: loyalty cards and gift cards
Fidely lets merchants issue digital loyalty cards, gift cards and coupons that customers keep in Google Wallet (and Apple Wallet too). No app to download and no paper cards: the pass lives on the phone and updates itself.
Who it is for
Small and medium merchants, especially food businesses: coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries, ice-cream parlours and food trucks that want customers to come back, without complicated systems or the cost of physical cards.
How it works
- The customer adds the pass by scanning a QR code at the shop or tapping a link the merchant sends, and saves it to Google Wallet with one tap.
- Every visit counts: the merchant scans the pass code to stamp the loyalty card or deduct the gift-card balance. The pass updates instantly on the phone.
- The customer redeems the reward or remaining balance by presenting the same pass; the merchant validates it with a scan.
Passes are issued with the Google Wallet API (loyalty cards, gift cards and offers) and, for iPhone, with Apple Wallet. No extra app is needed.
What the pass contains and how it is protected
- Merchant name, stamps or balance, reward, validity and a redemption code. Optionally the holder's name.
- No bank card data or payment credentials.
- Fidely uses the data only to operate the service and never sells or shares it with third parties. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
- Customers can remove the pass from their wallet at any time; redemption conditions are set by each merchant under the Terms and Conditions.
